Registrations revoked

On November 14, the Registrar issued Final Notices revoking the registrations of 100 brokers and salespersons who failed to submit the required insurance renewal premium, resulting in a breach of a condition of registration under REBBA 2002.

On November 14, the Registrar issued Final Notices revoking the registrations of 100 brokers and salespersons who failed to submit the required insurance renewal premium, resulting in a breach of a condition of registration under REBBA 2002. Due to the number of revocations, a separate listing of these former registrants appears in the Regulatory Activity section of the Web site under Registrar's Proposals. According to RECO, the breakdown of the revocations is as follows:

Brokers of Record / Sole Proprietors: 1
Brokers: 8
Salespersons: 91

There are no Licence Appeal Tribunal hearings related to Registrar's Proposals for non-payment of insurance.
